While COVID-19 continues to run its course, ZDF-German Television, one of two public broadcasting stations in Germany, decided to send reporters around the globe to feature responses to the pandemic. The network highlighted the community response of Alexandria, Virginia, including OpenTable and MedStreet.

The Open Table ministry coordinates several churches in Alexandria, Virginia to provide a healthy, often warm breakfast for homeless or low-income families. Personal hygiene items and clothing are also available to guests. As seen in the video, MedStreet has partnered with Open Table offering God’s love in the community.

Kudos to the Alexandria community for its continuing efforts during this challenging time in our lives. Individuals and organizations in our community have served our neighbors for many years. It seems that no pandemic, no fear, and no darkness will deter the love for one another.

Please consider supporting the effort.
